Ryan Mulvey

Five years ago, I quit my desk job. I was depressed, felt purposeless, and—honestly—it was getting in the way of my fitness.

With no clear idea of what I wanted to do next, I made a simple list of things I cared about. It wasn’t long. At the top was one word: fitness.

I didn’t know exactly what that path would look like, so I applied to the biggest, most recognizable gym I knew (rhymes with Equifox). Within a week, I was rejected by multiple locations, interviewed by one, passed my certification, and—thanks to that one opportunity—started onboarding.

Very quickly, I realized something: I loved working with people.

Coaching someone through their first Bulgarian split squat. Watching them hit a personal record. Seeing the disbelief on their face when I choose the weight they’re going to lift.

It’s exhilarating. It’s exhausting. And it’s incredibly rewarding.

Some of my most successful clients are people I met on that gym floor—and I’m still training many of them today. Over time, those client relationships have grown into genuine friendships. And the most meaningful part of it all is witnessing that growth—not just physically through strength and body composition, but emotionally and socially as well.

This is what I aim to bring to every person I work with:
Real, lasting personal growth through fitness.
